TAX REFUNDS
The government has a benefit for property-owners: tax-deductible paid interest. The paid interest of the mortgage of your main residence is tax-deductible for a maximum of 30 years in tax box 1. Expats Amsterdam can arrange your provisional refund so that you will receive your tax benefits monthly instead of yearly. This way your monthly mortgage expenses will consist of the original expenses minus the tax benefits, leaving you with your net monthly mortgage payment.
